| STEP 1: Mix all the dry spices in uoghurt with 2-3 tablespoons of water. |

| STEP 2: Heat oil in a pan. Add the cumin seens and onions and fry till the onions get brown. Add the spice mixture to the fried onions and stir till the oil separates. |

| STEP 3: Break the papads into small triangular pieces and add to the onion and spice mixture. |

| STEP 4: Add salt and enough water so that the papads are completely immersed in the mixture. |

| STEP 5: Cook for 10 minutes or till the papads become tender. Serve hot. |
