| STEP 1: Clean and wash the mushrooms. Slice four to five pieces and roughly chop the remaining mushrooms |

| STEP 2: Boil the milk along with bay leaves, peppercorns
and cloves. Strain and keep the milk hot. |

| STEP 3: Heat the butter in a pan. Add chopped onions and
chopped mushrooms and cook till they are soft.
Add the floor and saute till there is no raw flavour
coming from the flour . Take care that the flour does
not get burnt. |

| STEP 4: Pour the milk slowly and stir continuously to avoid
lumps from forming. |

| STEP 5: Cook for about 5 minutes. Puree the mixture when
a little cold until it attains a smooth texture. |

| STEP 6: Bring it to boil. Add the cream (reserving a little for garnish), salt, pepper powder. Stir well. |

| STEP 7: Serve hot , garnished with mushroom slices and
cream. |
