| STEP 1: Bring the milk to a boil and the lemon juice to make the milk curdle. |

| STEP 2: Pass the curdled milk through a muslin cloth. Tie the ends of the cloth and let it hang for 6 hours |

| STEP 3: When all the whey is drained from the cottage cheese, add the semolina and knead well to make a smooth dough. |

| STEP 4: Divide and shape the dough into small lemon-sized, round balls. Set aside. |

| STEP 5: Boil the water and add the sugar and rose water to it. Cook untill it becomes a thick syrup. |

| STEP 6: Carefully slide the balls into the syrup and cook untill they become light and fluffy and start floating in the syrup. |
 |
| STEP 7: Remove from the flame and set aside to cool. Serve chilled. |
