| STEP 1: Knead the cottage cheese with the semolina well, till it is light and fluffy. |

| STEP 2: Divide the dough and shape into small round lemon-sized balls. |

| STEP 3: Make a thick sugar syrup with 1 litre water and 7 table spoons of sugar. Keep aside. |

| STEP 4: Flatten the balls to make patties and then poach them in the thick syrup for 15 minutes. |

| STEP 5: Bring the milk to a boil and cook untill it is reduced to three-quarters of the original quantity. Add the remaining sugar and cardamom powder. Stir till the sugar dissolves completely. |

| STEP 6: Add the poached patties to the hot milk. Remove from the flame and cool. |
 |
| STEP 7: Serve chilled, garnished with pistachios. |
