  Makhane Ki Kheer  
  (Milk pudding of lotus seeds)  
 
INGERIDENTS
Lotus seeds (makhane) 1 cup
Milk 10 cups
Sugar 1 cup
 
Makhane Ki Kheer, Milk pudding of lotus seeds
 
  METHOD  
 
STEP 1: Boil the lotus seeds in 1-1/2 cups of water. Leave to sinuer for half an hour.
STEP 2: Boil the milk in a pan. Simmer for half an hour or till it becomes thick.
STEP 3: Add the lotus seeds and cook for about 5 minutes.
STEP 4: Add the sugar and stir till it dissolves completely.
