  Coconut Sweet  
  (Sweetened coconut dessert)  
 
INGERIDENTS
Coconut (desiccated) 200 gms
Butter 75 gms
Condensed milk 750 ml
Pink food colouring (optional) a few drops
 
Coconut Sweet, Sweetened coconut dessert
 
  METHOD  
 
STEP 1: Place the butter in a heavy-base saucepan and melt over a low heat.
STEP 2: Add the disiccated coconut to the melted butter, stirring to mix.
STEP 3: Stir in the condensed milk and the pink food colouring (if using / and mix continuously for 7-10 minutes.
STEP 4: Remove the saucepan from the heat and set aside.
STEP 5: Once the mixture is cool enough to handle, shape it into equal-sized rectangles. Leave to set for about 1 hour before serving.
